A major in the reserves, he is married to Noa and father to seven-month-old Yoav. He is a member of the Herzliya City Council, head of the party’s Reservists Branch, and one of the authors of our enlistment law and B’Yachad’s plans to support reservists. As the Herzliya municipality’s portfolio holder for young adults, he has worked to promote the rights of reservists in the city and to create a multi-year plan aimed at keeping young people in Herzliya.
With the outbreak of the Swords of Iron War, while simultaneously serving in the reserves, he founded “Reservists for Reservists,” a group that has helped tens of thousands of reservists access and exercise their rights, as well as “Magen HaDor”, which works to advance reservists’ rights in the Knesset and oppose draft evasion legislation.
"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same."
