MK Shelly Tal Meron was an Air Force officer and senior manager in the global hi-tech industry before entering politics. In the Knesset, she led the opposition's battle against the government's media takeover and chaired the Knesset caucus on behalf of the hostages and their families, fighting a global battle for their return. She also formed a global coalition to bring attention to sexual violence committed against Israelis on October 7th and to combat such violence in conflict zones.
