More about me
MK Ram Ben Barak was a senior member of the intelligence community. Born in Nahalal, he began his career as a soldier and officer in Sayeret Matkal and served for nearly 30 years in the Mossad before becoming its Deputy Director. He later served as Director-General of the Ministry of Intelligence and Strategic Affairs and as Chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. He has fought for treatment for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress. Fiercely committed to protecting and promoting Israeli agriculture, he also helped lead the charge on the Israeli Agricultural Product Labeling Law. He brings with him deep security and diplomatic experience alongside a commitment to agriculture and consumer protection.
"I am prepared to swear, for us and our descendants, that we will never destroy this equality and we will never attempt to expel or oppress the Arabs."
