A major general in the reserves, former commander and soldier in Sayeret Matkal and former Commander of the Nahal Brigade. On the morning of October 7th, he fought in the Gaza Envelope, rescuing survivors of the Nova festival massacre as well as participating in the battle to liberate Nahal Oz. He then led the Generals' Project through which senior IDF veterans "adopted" and supported communities in the Gaza Envelope Region following October 7th, and later played an active role in the struggles to bring our hostages home, for equality in enlistment and for forming a State Commission of Inquiry into the events of October 7th.
