Bennett 2026 is responsible for the establishment and operation of the website: https://be-yahad.org.il. We place great importance on providing equal service to all citizens and on improving the service provided to citizens with disabilities. We invest substantial resources in making our website and digital assets accessible, in order to make our services more readily available to people with disabilities.

In the State of Israel, approximately 20 percent of the population are people with disabilities who require digital accessibility in order to access general information and services. The accessibility adaptations made to the Bennett 2026 website are intended to make it more available, user-friendly, and convenient for populations with special needs, arising among other things from various motor disabilities, cognitive impairments, short-sightedness, blindness or color blindness, hearing impairments, as well as members of the older population.

The accessibility adaptation of this website was carried out by the website accessibility company “Vee Accessibility.”

Website accessibility level: AA

The “Vee” company adapted the website’s accessibility, as far as possible, for the common browsers and for use on mobile phones, and conducted its testing with screen readers of the Jaws and NVDA types.

The website complies with the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 5773-2013, and with Israeli Standard SI 5568, at level AA. It likewise implements the recommendations of the WCAG 2.2 document issued by the W3C organization.

The accessibility of this website was carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Israeli Government ICT Authority (Tikshuv) for making applications accessible in web browsers.

How do you switch to accessible mode?

An accessibility icon is placed on the website (usually along the sides of the site). Clicking the icon opens the accessibility menu. After selecting the appropriate function in the menu, please wait for the page to load and for the desired change in the display (where required). If you wish to cancel an action, click the same function in the menu a second time. In all cases, accessibility settings can be reset.

The software operates in the popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera (subject to the manufacturer’s terms). Browsing in accessibility mode is recommended in the Chrome browser.

The website provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and supports the standard usage pattern for keyboard operation, using the arrow keys, Enter, and Esc to exit menus and windows. For an optimal browsing experience with screen-reading software, we recommend using the most up-to-date version of the NVDA software.

Corrections and adjustments made to the website:

• The website is adapted for viewing in modern browsers.

• All images on the website have alternative text descriptions (alt).

Exclusions

It is important to note that, despite our efforts to make all pages and elements on the website accessible, parts or features may be found that have not been made properly accessible or that have not yet been made accessible. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website, as part of our commitment to enable the entire population, including people with disabilities, to use it.
