In various roles including Minister of Social Equality during the 'Government of Change', Chairwoman of the Committee on the Treatment of Holocaust Survivors, Chairwoman of the Committee on the Status of Women, and Chairwoman of the Caucus for Senior Citizens, she has worked tirelessly to combat poverty, support our seniors and Holocaust survivors and promote gender equality. Among her achievements are reducing poverty rates among seniors and passing legislation to help combat the defrauding of vulnerable populations. She brings with her a deep commitment to reducing social disparities and strengthening disadvantaged populations.

Tasks for the term

  • Building the infrastructure to make Israel's education system the best in the world
  • Connecting ultra-Orthodox society with Mamlachti education and studying core subjects
  • Providing quality, subsidized early childhood education to all Israeli kids, especially those whose parents serve
  • Stopping the erosion of seniors' pensions and doubling benefits for those receiving meager pensions
  • Combating violence against women and effectively implementing the national plan to prevent murders of women
